Waded her through the floods of river Vegavathi
Initiated by Lord Shiva, to test her devotion
Which she passed with ease by holding tight to the lingam in station
Devi cleared all his tests with flying colours
Finally got him, with her devotional powers

Malayadwaja Pandiyan and his queen performed Yagna for a warrior son
Devi emerged from fire as a three year old girl, three breast one
With a divine saying , that it would disappear when she meets her handsome Lord
Till then to be raised like a son, playing just with a sword
This fish eyed beauty
The Primary protector of the city
Devi the warrior always on a conquering spree
Met Lord Shiva in Kailash and set herself free
Surrendering unto his beautiful form of Lord Sundereshwar
And becoming one with Parameshwar .
This divine synthesis of power and consciousness
will invoke spirituality and clear any ambiguousness

A night when Shiva became one with mount kailash;
The pious hours, when our Nataraj performed the cosmic dance;
The Tandava of creation, Preservation and destruction;
An enchanting way to resurrection .

A day of Shiva Shakthi’s synergy;
Nature is bestowed with dual energy ;
A day when Shiva thathva touches the earth;
Alluring one to meditate upon the source of one’s birth ;

It’s the time when the entire cosmos is in Shivoham;
Ecstatically surrendering in Daasoham;
Few words of his praise;
For our senses to upraise;
Just Pale of water will suffice;
Our Bholenath, the austerically enticing ace ;
His ray of light is infinite in size ;
Enlightening, three world’s and their lives;

Let’s bow down to our Ardhanareeshwar’s Gouri ;
An amalgamation of grace with pace and compassion is our beautiful potpourri;
A proud father of two adhipathis;
One being Remover of obstacles, the Ganadipathi
The other being his warrior son Karthikeya , the senadipathi.
Guarding and Granting boons is this family;
No where in cosmos, you find their simile.

The night when Paramatma emerged as a Jyothirlingam, a divine pillar of light;
Making this night most auspicious and might.
To dispel the darkness in this universe;
Cleansing the path of his traverse.

With the rays of wisdom reverberating three worlds;
The time when deepest insight swiftly unfurls.
This serene, pious and Illuminous face;
Whose origin and end, Lords failed to trace.

Lord Varaha dug his way through pathaala, yet was clueless of the origin of this ambit.
Lord Brahma too saw no end of this magnanimous summit;

The opportunity to meditate on him is bestowed upon us in this birth;
As we being the only erect spine beings on earth .
Let’s soak all night our Ashutosh with panchamrutham ;
With Shlokas to chant and manthras to hum;

The night of Shivashakthi’s synergy;
Casts its magical spell of energy;
Pious and serene like red bright flames;
Is their splendid union with varied names;

The Ashtamoorthi is everything and everywhere;
This life is supreme’s dimensions fair🙏
Prithvi, jala, vaayu, Akasha, Agni, Surya, Chandra and Jiva, our prayers to you;
This is the world we knew and grew 🙏

Be it the Prithvi lingam in kanchi;
Jala lingam in Jambukeshvaram;
Vaayu lingam in Srikalahasthi;
Akasha lingam in Chidambaram;
Agni lingam in Arunachalam;
Surya lingam in Konark;
Chandra lingam in Odisha;
Jiva lingam pashupathinath in Nepal;

Appeasing Bholenath is so very simple;
Love and Faith being the only pillars of Ashutosh’s temple.
One needs to be within the supremes hem;
Everything else will follow them.

There is so much to perceive;
Let’s all set to receive;
With all five senses at work;
Praying and wishing for
his ultimate perk.

handful of water is enough for thou to be appeased.

Control of time and nature is in thy crescent;
During our stay, bless us towards a spiritual ascent.

Hey Vrushanka,
Learnt from thee that a righteous companion can get one through any road;
With centre of the universe being thy abode.

Hey Gourishankara,

Salute to Thy culmination into beautiful symphony;
For the sustainance of life and universal harmony.

Thou are beyond this cycle of life and death;
Thou are an ecstatic mystical blithe.

Thy chant cleanses the body and soul;

Om Namah shivaaya

Put your spine erect;
Stay all night awake.
Celebrate the darkness;
Unbounded emptiness.
The upsurge of energy;
With varied stories synergy.
Takes you through an ecstatic ride;
Just you and you, with no rules to abide.

His disposition being mystical;
Too far to be chronicle.
So much untold;
So much to unfold.
His tales of endurance;
Will ease of any encumbrance.

This is not just the night of Shiva Parvati’s blissful bond
Neelkant’s supreme sacrifice was also found
Devoured the poison and reached new horizon.
Adorned the splash of ash;
Became one with Mount kailash.

This is the night where he put an end,
to the almighty Vishnu & Brahma’s fight for supremacy ;
Aroused as a pillar of fire, whose origin and limit, both failed to see.
Thus emerged jyothirlingam the source of creation ;
Just surrender yourself to it, in submissive devotion

Ganga to nurture us found the way through his tresses;
Bhagiratha’s effort has given us this valuable access.

Importance of time is held high with his crescent;
Trust in his third eye will never let one to dissent.
With serpentine playing in his neck;
Yet stillness is what he is decked.
A stern and pleasant demure;
Can be yielded with pure endure.
His reverence to feminity;
Conveyed as better half with affinity.
They Initiated their progeny;
Only for the universal symphony.

Filled with anger or in the mist of ecstasy;
Nataraj’s each step is always in accuracy.
Time will not suffice to read this mystic;
Life seems to have many tales when the path is so rustic.

So much untold;
So much to unfold.
His tales of endurance;
