Happy Deepavali 🙏🪔

May Devi Lakshmi’s glance, grace upon every entity;
In these pious hours of intact sanctity;
It’s the day when Devi Lakshmi resides in oil;
Lighting Diya will ward off any evil ;
A day when Devi Ganga resides in water;
Just soak in the bliss and bless of her splatter;

Nature is bestowed with Devi’s opulent presence;
Lets pay our gratitude in full delegence;
Let’s keep our foyer clean and green;
For her vibrant and unseen energy to seep in;

Its a day when Varahamurthi kicked out Alakshmi;
With the churning of the ocean, he got back our Lakshmi.

It’s the day which saw Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya in victory;
A day when Satyabhama’s triumph over Narakasura was written down in history;

A day when Lord Vishnu’s Vamana avatar sent his devotee Bali, the king of demons to Patalok;
With a boon to revisit once every year his Bhulok ;

Preaching and abiding the laws of the land ;
With their varied forms for us to understand;
Our Lakshmi Narayana are watching our innings;
Ushering on the deserved ones their wholesome blessings ;

Deepavali/Diwali Poem of 12/11/2023

Happy Diwali

Deepavali the Festival of Lights;
With Magnanimous tales of the Mights;
Instills great inspiration, strength and vitality in our lives;
With Devi Laxmi bringing In prosperity in all clean and green hives.

With churning of the ocean
emerged our Sridevi;
Took pride in settling with Varahamurthi as Bhudevi;
Ushering abundance and prosperity on earth.
Adding glory to this human birth.

Devi Gowri’s resilience in achieving equality ;
With penance of highest Magnanimity;
Till she became a segment of Parameshwara;
Culminating into Ardhanarishwara.
Her Kedarishwara nomu is a guiding force ;
Paving way for the everlasting bonds to reinforce;

Lord Rama’s return from fourteen years exile;
With Victory over ten bad vices, as his vanavasam profile.
Narakasura’s end at Satyabhama’s hand;
Proclaiming evil has no place in Sri Krishna’s Land.

Thus the acts of good over evil;
Sails in all situation severe or trivial.

May Mother Laxmi’s divine glance, illuminate our home with happiness;
Health and goodness
In abundance.

It’s a celebration of good over evil;
This victory of light over darkness is no trivial ;

When Hiranyaksha the demon dragged Mother Earth to the bottom of the ocean;
Lord varaha the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu raised her above, without an abrasion.
Their union gave birth to a demon Narakasura.
But lord Vishnu is known to annexe the asura;
Fearing this, his consort Bhudevi wished Lord not to annex their son;
Which the Lord obliged saying she has to take up, what she told him to shun.

Narakasura troubled all three lokas with his demonic nature;
Exploiting the fact that none can match his strength and stature;

Narada finally took the refuge of the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu;
When descended to the earth like Sri Krishna, this jishnu.
Satyabhama the consort of Sri Krishna of that yuga;
Put an end to the Narakasura with krishna’s sayyoga.
Thus whenever there is Adharma, the supreme adorns different forms;
To reestablish Dharma and to reset all norms.

The fight amongst Deva’s and Asuras for immortality;
Ushered three lokas with full of radiance and vitality;
With the churning of the ocean emerged the incarnation of Vishnu, Lord Dhanwantri
To bestow upon us good health and prosperity on Triyodashi;

In ecstasy when Supreme’s tears fell in his Amritha kalasha;
The pious tulasi emerged to guide us to the righteous Disha .

Then emerged Lakshmi Devi the Goddess of fortune;
To bestow her radiance on those in natures tune;

Thaile Lakshmi, Jale ganga
Soak in them, taking the name of SriRanga;
During the Brahma Muhurta of Narakachathurdashi;
Ganga is bestowed in water and in Til oil is Padmakshi.

May Lakshmi Narayan blessings seep into our hives;
Enlightening us with the true purpose of our lives.

Happy Deepavali 🙏

Let the light seep through these hours of slumber;
The first ray shall fall on us and shine as an amber.

May Good health be ushered by God Dhanwantri;
Time to consider health as wealth from this Triyodashi.

May Lakshmi Devi, shower upon us with riches;
By which the body and soul enriches.

Let’s keep all the inertia away;
Let only positive energy sway.

Killing Narakasura within;
Perceiving Sri Krishna’s chakra spin;

Which says duties first;
Every thing else falls next

To be responsible towards fellow men;
In adversities being zen.

When one is detached to worldly things;
Pain and suffering will cease to cling.

When being one in nature;
To the core, it will nurture.

Be sensitive to surroundings;
For safe and smooth innings.

When one holds the supreme chakra in high esteem ;
Devi’s blessings will surely beam.

May Lakshmi Devi step into each and every home and usher us with health, wealth and prosperity in immense.
