The 75 years of self governance ;
Is the result of our great leaders intense penance;

Celebrated very much in its true sense;
With an ode to Amar jawan Jyothi, a flame of sacrifice in defence ;

Honouring their bravery with rightful awards;
Entitling the brave civilians with equivalent rewards;

Spirit of Nation’s self reliance is reinforced ;
By showcasing the strength of Army, Navy and Air Force;
The Echo of the synchronised Parade;
Will ward off all fears that dare to invade;

The act of showering petals on civilians;
Reminds and assures our trinity’s defence;
It’s the time of our rich diverse cultural fair.
With hues of Flag shooting patriotism in the air;

Let’s bow down
to our ever inclusive motherland;
For binding us with this tricoloured band ;

Happy Republic day

A day when an instrument of governance was sown;
By the Democratically elected members of our own;
To secure its citizens with justice equality, liberty, gender and economy equity.
For the wholesome growth without compromising on integrity.

Our constitution founders have steered us through all odds;
With growth in all sectors, have put us in the midst of all applauds.

It fetched us the status of Largest democracy in the world;
Giving us these proud moments whenever tiranga is unfurled.

A true tribute to them, is to pledge and work towards their vision;
Always abiding to the productive and collective decision;
With a single aim of progress of the nation;
With cent percent efforts in their respective station.
The progress of the nation can be achieved as a whole;
when one considers oneself as a mere entity of a single soul
